Is it possible to place the TLSR8258 into sniffer/promiscuous mode? If so, can you point me at the documentation for this? I'm happy to write code, flash the device etc.
Sort of, but not as a full packet capture system. I want to be able receive packets directed to a specific address, but never respond to them, including not send any IEEE 802.15.4 related responses. So imagine there is a device on the network with address 11-22-33-44-55-66-77-88, communicating with other devices on the ZigBee PAN. I would like the TLSR8258 to ALSO receive any packets directed to 11-22-33-44-55-66-77-88 but not appear as a device on the network. The TLSR8258 would be a "ghost", listening and collecting frames but never sending any data at all out onto the network. Is there a way to achieve this?
Hi,
Do you want to use TLSR8258 to capture packets?it is not support.
