Is there any method to lower 825x connectable directed adv phase power consumption?

Hi Telink support team,

I tested with 825x 3.4.2 SDK, and I hope to use connectalbe directed adv after pairing between my dongle and slave device. But I found with LOW_DUTY adv type, the power consumption was still relatively high, more than 10mA. Is this normal? I haven't found this adv type demo under the b85m_feature_test\feature_adv_power subfolder. How can I achieve better low power performance? Please give me some advice, thanks in advance.

10mA is abnormal.

You can check the comments we leave in the user_init_normal, you can find the power consumption for undirected adv.

The power consumption will be decided by a few factors like radio power, adv interval, adv packet length. And the overall power consumption is also affected by the board itself, the reference code are configured to match the ref EVK/dongle.

Hi bloom thanks a lot for your feedback.

but if i want a directed adv(and setup an  SMP encrypted connection) and need low power consumption, how can I do? Shall I must deploy white list filter policy, or can just use directed adv? and may last for enough long time
