I just bought zigbee modules from third party (Ebyte) and I am struggling to flash firmware into these modules. I have USB-Serial conversor to help on development, so I would like to know if it helps and if there is a pre-installed bootloader.

Is there any Jtag or SWD interface to help on development? I did not see any related topic on documentation.

If not, how can I get around it?

Hi Jose,

For 8series chip, we use our burning tool with Swire interface to do the programming and development. Pls check the http://wiki.telink-semi.cn/wiki/IDE-and-Tools/Burning-and-Debugging-Tools-for-all-Series/, the black box in the picture is the burning tool.

As for EBYTE, they developed the module firmware themselves, we are not sure if they lock the debuging interface or not. Pls contact Ebyte to check.

Yes, there is a firmware inside it for development, but it is limited.

Where do I buy this burning tool adapter for development? Is it available on Aliexpress ?
