Hi,

I just bought my first Telink products and I want to test a concurrent Zigbee network (for communication) and BLE for commands on TLSR8278 chip. I have a USB dongle and development board. I downloaded IDE and Zigbee SDK, read the documentation, but I cannot find anything regarding Zigbee + BLE on 8278. Which SDK should I use for this setup?

Thanks

Zigbee and BLE concurrent Mode is only supported by TLSR8258 and TLRS9xxx chips. That's why SDK doesn't show on TLSR8278 page

Well, on page 25 in the TLSR8278 pdf is said that it can work in concurrent mode... that's why I bough this chip and not 92xx

When you open the webpage for TLSR825x series http://wiki.telink-semi.cn/wiki/chip-series/TLSR825x-Series/ you can see that there is an SDK for Zigbee and another one for Zigbe+BLE concurrent Mode.

The other thing, with TLSR8258, I found out (the hard way - after spending a lot of time trying to figure out why it didn't work with 521k flash) that I need 1MB flash to work in ZigBee+BLE concurrent mode.

Maybe wait for Soyo from Telink to confirm this.

Yes, thank you, found out the same :)

I think they should fix the documentation, because chapter 1.2.10 that I posted, is the same for tlsr9xxx and 8xxx series.

Hi Javor,

I get your point. The SDK team did not port the concurrent mode on 827x. If this is a necessity for your project, pls contact our sales team.
